Launched in 2021, the Priorit\u00e9 patient grant program is offered by Oncopole – the cancer cluster of the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec – Sant\u00e9 (FRQS), and with the collaboration of the Programme qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de canc\u00e9rologie (PQC) of the Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 et des Services sociaux.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

General objective<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of this competition is to support research projects aimed at providing better support for cancer sufferers and their families in Quebec. In particular, by improving the trajectory of care and services they receive in oncology. Projects must address one or more of the issues raised by Oncopole’s patient-partner committee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Total competition budget: <\/strong>$750,000<\/p>\n

Amount awarded per project <\/strong>: $250,000 for 2 years<\/p>\n
