The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on oncology research, care and services. This unique situation has forced the research community and the health and social services system to adapt.

The aim of the competition is to fund projects that will accelerate the care of people with cancer, and the development of or access to treatments, care and services that help prevent, detect and treat cancer.

Projects may address one or more issues linked to or exacerbated by the recent COVID-19 pandemic, or focus on positive initiatives or transformations resulting from the response to the pandemic.

Minimum competition budget: $1,000,000

Amount granted per project : maximum $200,000 for 2 years.

• Letter of intent deadline: June 20, 2022, 4 PM
• Deadline for submitting a complete application: October 3, 2022, 4 PM
