Launched in 2021, the Priorité patient grant program is offered by Oncopole – the cancer cluster of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS), and with the collaboration of the Programme québécois de cancérologie (PQC) of the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux.
General objective
The purpose of this competition is to support research projects aimed at providing better support for cancer sufferers and their families in Quebec. In particular, by improving the trajectory of care and services they receive in oncology. Projects must address one or more of the issues raised by Oncopole’s patient-partner committee.
Total competition budget: $750,000
Amount awarded per project : $250,000 for 2 years
