Detailed program rules are available on the CQDM website.
Oncopole, the FRQS cancer division, and CQDM are joining forces to support collaborative translational research and development (R&D) projects in precision oncology care. More specifically, this program aims to support interventions with a personalized approach that optimize the treatment offered to a person affected by cancer, and more specifically via oncogenetics, patient profiling and targeted recruitment for clinical studies.
This partnership creates a unique funding mechanism to bring together experts from academia and industry to support the development of biopharmaceutical platforms, tools and products that will pave the way for new advances in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
This CQDM and Oncopole initiative focuses on research in the field of precision oncology care. This initiative aims to :
- Increase research collaborations and partnerships between universities and companies in Quebec’s life sciences ecosystem to improve cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
- Enable technological maturation and the creation of industrial value to generate economic spin-offs for the project’s stakeholders and for Quebec;
- Contribute to the valorization of knowledge, know-how and new technologies developed in public institutions and their transfer to industry.
